Description of Research:Incorporating metals into organic media in a controlled fashion can be challenging. In this project, the student will design, synthesize, and analyze mixtures to develop methods for tuning concentration and homogeneity/gradient of metal content in polymers. Students majoring in chemistry, engineering, or materials science are ideal for this project.
