Research Experiences for STEM Educators and Teachers (RESET)

For teachers, Research Experiences for STEM Educators and Teachers (RESET) provides an opportunity to get summer research experience at participating U.S. Army Laboratories and Centers. This enriching reinforces teachers’ content knowledge through research experience and interactions with U.S. Army and DoD scientists and engineers. For fifth to eighth grade students, Junior Solar Sprint (JSS) is a competition to create the fastest, most interesting and best crafted solar-vehicle possible. Students will design, build and race solar powered cars using engineering skills and principles of science and math, develop teamwork and problem solving abilities, investigate environmental issues and gain hands-on STEM skills. eCYBERMISSION is a free, virtual STEM competition for 6-9 grade students that promotes teamwork, self-discovery, and the real-life applications of STEM. National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate (NDSEG) Fellowship Check Eligibility

For those pursuing a doctoral degree in a STEM discipline, the National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate (NDSEG) fellowship confers high honors upon its recipients, and allows them to attend whichever U.S. institution they choose. NDSEG Fellowships last for three years and pay for full tuition and all mandatory fees, a monthly stipend and up to $1,000 a year in medical insurance (this excludes dental and vision insurance).
