Description of Research: At the Biodefense Research Laboratory, ents will have the opportunity to work alongside subject matter experts who specialize in virology, bacteriology, diagnostic studies to learn about how USAMRIID deter and defend against current and emerging biological threat agents. Work in the laboratory includes exposure to fundamental principles that are necessary to safely operate in a BSL-2 laboratory. Students have the opportunity to learn from not only a scientist point of view, but a managerial perspective of the day-to-day operations that are necessary to conduct research at a U.S.Army facility.

eCYBERMISSION Grants
The eCYBERMISSION Mini-Grant is intended to support teachers/program leaders as they implement eCYBERMISSION with their teams. Educators (formal and informal) of students in grades 6-9 are encouraged to apply. Special consideration is given to Title 1 schools and to those with underserved/ under-represented populations.
