Title: Modeling of Battery Materials

Location: Army Research Lab – Adelphi Laboratory Center – Adelphi, MD

Description: As part of this research effort, the selected candidate will work within a highly interdisciplinary team of scientists at DEVCOM ARL, university collaborators, and Department of Energy Laboratory counterparts to apply one or more molecular to mesoscale level computational methodologies spanning from density functional theory (DFT), molecular dynamics (MD) simulations of bulk battery electrolytes and electrochemical interfaces and complex/composite interphases.

Requirements: Experience with python, knowledge of electrochemistry and battery operation, knowledge of one of the molecular modeling codes (VASP, gaussian, psi4, LAMMPS, etc)

Level: Graduate
