The new year is a perfect time to refresh classroom content and introduce students to new concepts in science, technology, engineering and math. AEOP’s Junior Solar Sprint program, which is free to teachers and students, is an educational program for 5th through 8th grade students designed to introduce students to STEM principals while also building teamwork and problem-solving skills. The AEOP website is home to resources including tutorial videos, tools to help prepare for race day and many model lesson plans about car design, aerodynamics and solar power!

We’re always looking for teachers to get involved, and registration is open now! As a teacher, once you’ve completed the free online registration, you’ll receive access to additional online resources, including an e-newsletter, educational materials, additional instructional videos, connection to online resources and more.  Learn more, here!
