Tell Us about Yourself

I am a freshman in high school and have plans to pursue a career in aerospace and aeronautical engineering. This career is a perfect blend of science, math, engineering and technology which are my passions. Another career path is being an entrepreneur striving to create a social enterprise that’s creating jobs, impacting communities and helping make people’s lives better. I love the concept of a social enterprise because it serves a much bigger purpose than making money.

Best Things about the Program?

eCYBERMISSION taught me the importance of working as a team and collaborating with my peers. Through this competition I developed my communication, leadership and problem-solving skills as well as long lasting friendships. eCYBERMISSION motivated me as a young engineer and to solve real world problems which will benefit the environment, people and many more.

How Participating in AEOP Inspired You to Advance in the STEM Field?

Through eCYBERMISSION I got to meet so many U.S. Army engineers and STEM professionals who taught me so much about the ever-growing field of STEM. The STEM field is so vast and has endless opportunities to explore, and army engineers deepened my understanding of STEM. They also taught me about how there is more to STEM than just inventing, including cybersecurity, biotechnology, utility management and transportation. Learning about all of these areas, inspired me to think outside of the box, research differently and try new methods.
