Best Things about the Program?

The best things about GEMS is how interactive the lessons were. Students were able to learn in a real lab with science equipment to properly understand topics in the STEM field. GEMS also provided a great opportunity to learn new topics every day using hands-on techniques.

How Participating in AEOP Inspired You to Advance in the STEM Field?

Participating in AEOP has inspired me to persist in the STEM field because I was provided the opportunity to learn more about my career choice and how there are less women in STEM than men. This sparked my interest to continue to pursue my science education in order to achieve my goals.
