Tell me about your AEOP experience...

I helped coordinate and support multiple youth programs at the 416th ENG CMD, Darien, IL.

What were some of the best things about the program you participated in?

I enjoyed improving our youth’s opportunities in STEM via the Army’s gateway programs and initiatives and hope to continue with this work.

Who is your favorite STEM role model? Why?

My STEM role model is Daniel Hale Williams, an African-American surgeon who performed “the first successful heart surgery in Chicago.” I am African-American-Chicagoan.

If you could meet one person living or dead, who would you choose? Why?

President Barack Obama. He opened doors for many of today’s innovators. (Also, claims Chicago as his current home).

What are your future hopes and dreams?

To see naturopath and chiropractic medicine become an integral part of the Army’s wellness programs to help many service men & women.
