The AEOP program is a wonderful experience. It will open your mind to new amazing career paths. It’s a great way to keep active during the summer while doing something fun.
Best Things about the Program?
This summer I had a blast working side by side with Professor Cucchiara. We focused on looking at different images taken by the Dark Energy Camera. It was amazing to see how the sky looks through digital images. Seeing the different types of stars, comets, galaxies, asteroids, and other Near Earth Objects (NEOs) made my summer!
How Participating in AEOP Inspired You to Advance in the STEM Field?
Before I completed this program, I thought I wanted to be a criminal lawyer. I’m now rethinking my career plans completely.
