Fellowship Description
The successful postdoctoral researcher would aid in the synthesis, purification, and characterizationof new organic and organometallic chromophores for the development of novel non-linear optical (NLO) materials. A qualified candidate will have experience in analyzing chemical characterization techniques, such as nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, mass spectrometry (MS), x-ray crystallography, electrochemistry, and optical characterization including, UV-visible absorption, photoluminescence, transient absorption, and Z-scan spectroscopies.
