About Army Research Laboratories (ARL)
ARL is the Army’s sole foundational research laboratory focused on cutting-edge scientifictechnological innovation, and transition of knowledge products to improve the Army’s chances of surviving and winning any future conflicts.
Fellowship Description
This research opportunity seeks qualified candidates for the nonlinear optical (NLO) and spectroscopic study of materials for Army applications. The linear and nonlinear optical properties of various organic and inorganic materials are studied using femtosecond, picosecond, nanosecond, and continuous-wave laser sources.Techniques that are used include Z-scan, transient absorption pump-probe, and photoluminescence.References: [1]Olumba, M.
