What AEOP program(s) did you participate in?

Junior Science and Humanities Symposium (JSHS)

What are you doing now?

I am entering my sophomore year of high school and aspire to become either a physician-scientist or a biomedical engineer.

What are the best things about the program(s) in which you participated?

By far, the best aspect of the National JSHS was meeting with other students and professionals from all across the country that shared the same interest and passion for science and engineering and who were also doing innovative research. It was great to network and share ideas with each other.

Why are you excited to be on the AEOP Alumni Leadership Council?

The opportunity to influence and improve a program I thoroughly enjoyed made me want to become involved in the AEOP Leadership Council. I am excited to have the opportunity to contribute to the future success of these programs as I have seen first-hand the benefits.
