Since 1960 the Department of Army has participated in the Science Fair Program as a special awards sponsor. Army Personnel throughout the United States have played an integral role in this effort by serving as judges of student research projects and presenting awards on behalf of the Secretary of the Army.
Any civilian or military Army personnel interested in supporting their local science fairs by judging projects or presenting awards should follow the link below to register. If a fair in your local area requests/receives Army awards and needs your support, you will be contacted by the Army Awards Program administrator, Ms. Pamela Hampton, with specific fair information and judging guidance. Please note that Army awards are sent directly to science fair directors unless other arrangements are made with Ms. Hampton.
