Students receive an educational stipend equivalent to $10 per hour, and are allowed to work up to 300 hours total. The students contribute to the research of the laboratory while learning research techniques in the process. This "hands-on" experience gives students a broader view of their fields of interest and shows students what kind of work awaits them in their future career. At the end of the program, the students prepare final reports for submission to the US Army Research Office Program Manager.
