Beginning GEMS
Beginning GEMS is offered to students entering grades
9-12 in the Fall of 2009. It is a 40-hour program running
one week, exploring physics, optics, and robotics though
scientific experiments, developing engineering design models,

Intermediate GEMS
Intermediate GEMS is intended to offer high school students
the opportunity to further their experiences in experimental
science, mathematics, and engineering with hands-on laboratory
experiences. Students will participate in small group exercises
that stress problem solving, computer simulation, and practical
applications in science and engineering.
