Exciting Part-time Teaching Opportunities for College Students Enrolled in Science and Engineering Programs. APPLY NOW!!!

The Science Education and Outreach Division at Walter Reed Army Institute of Research will be carrying on a science education program at the Columbia Heights Educational Campus from February 22nd through April 14th, every Monday and Wednesday, from 3:00 to 6:00 PM.

This extracurricular program is based on innovative teaching methods, which use multimedia technology, musical composition, and college students as teaching staff. The goal is to enhance the academic experience and interest in science education, by providing students with a fun and relaxed learning atmosphere, with lots of hands-on experiments, group discussions, and have them compose music with scientific words/concepts in the lyrics, while using a state-of-the-art, professional grade software.

If you are enrolled in programs with majors in biology, chemistry, engineering, physics, or computer sciences; like interacting with younger students; have passion for science and engineering; and is looking for a great way to supplement your budget, this opportunity is for you! Stipends will vary from $414 to $638, depending on year in college and teaching experience.
